Do you know for sure you got it from an authorized Canon USA dealer? This list is published by Canon. This is why I don't like buying new from eBay I prefer to use a few reliable dealers like B&H, Adorama, or Amazon (sold by & shipped from Amazon and not a Marketplace Seller). Sorry if this has been answered already but I couldn't find a definitive answer Is there an online serial number checker somewhere? When it arrives how can I verify the camera is truly a US version? Dealer had 100% rating so I have some confidence but as Ronald Reagan said "trust but verify". Bought a new 5d4 off Ebay claiming to be USA version NIB with US warranty card very prominently displayed in the description and title.
